People often ask me if I favor one island more than the rest. All Hawaiian islands are beautiful; however, if I must choose one island, I would say that Kauai is one of my most favorite island in Hawaii.
Kauai is one of the most romantic islands, layered in lush vegetation where you can feel like you are in Bora Bora, Tahiti, while being far more affordable than Tahiti. It's also one of the best kept secrets, making it one of the less crowded islands. It does get more rain than Oahu and Maui. In fact, it is home to Mount Wai’ale’ale, the wettest spot on Earth; however, we appreciate the rain as much as we appreciate the green hillsides throughout the island. It's just like being in Jurassic Park minus the T-Rex.
